For the opening quarter of the game, we barely saw Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii now heโs everywhere in attack and defence.
After a brilliant try, Suaalii makes a superb break for the Waratahs racing so far ahead of his side that thereโs no halfback at the ruck.
He has also made some solid reads in defence, especially after being unceremoniously bounced by Brumbies centre David Feliuai.
Heโs definitely been the pick of the Waratahsโ backs as the halftime whistle sounds.
Lawson Creighton has had an extremely difficult night, struggling with his kicks out of hand and off the tee. It would be a surprise if Tane Edmed doesnโt start in the second half.
The Brumbies have looked infinitely more dangerous in attack, with Corey Toole stretching his legs and providing his five-eighth Noah Lolesio with the width he loves to exploit with his rangy passes.
The game really could have got away from the Waratahs, but for Langi Gleesonโs brilliant read on the 17th minute to intercept Rory Scottโs pass and bring his side back into the game.
A huge amount for Waratahs coach Dan McKellar to digest, but his primary concern will be that his side slow down this rapid Brumbies team that look in danger of moving up through the gears at any moment.
Itโs a privilege to watch.
