RALEIGH, N.C. โ President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, the first lady, will visit North Carolina on Friday.ย
In a briefing on Tuesday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the president and first lady will visit Fort Bragg to meet with military families and members of the special forces who carried out an operation in Venezuela to capture Nicolรกs Maduro.
“I know the president and first lady are both greatly looking forward to this visit,” Leavitt said.ย
The two were aboard a U.S. warship on their way to New York, where they were to face criminal charges.ย
