
If you’re voting in the primaries on Election Day, keep these things in mind.
GREENSBORO, N.C. โ Election Day for the Primary Elections is today, Tuesday, March 3.
The polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. Any voters in line at their assigned polling place at 7:30 p.m. will be able to vote.
Here’s some things to keep in mind.
- Remember, voting on Election Day is different than voting early. You’ll need to find your polling place in order to vote.ย Click here to find your assigned polling place.
- According to the North Carolina Board of Elections, the busiest times are in the early morning and right before the polls close.
- Don’t forget your Photo ID. This will be your driver’s license, a state ID, a US passport, a college or university student ID, state/local government or charter school employee ID, military or veterans ID card, tribal enrollment card, ID card with photo issued by an agency of the US or NC government for a public assistance program.
- – If you can’t show a photo ID, you can still vote by filling out an ID Exception Form.
