Advance Metals has put an emphatic stamp of success on its recently completed extensional drilling at the companyโs 100 per cent-owned Yoquivo silver-gold project in Mexico, nailing a string of eye-watering results from the final resource extension holes at its Pertenencia deposit.
The standout intercept came from a hole put in to chase deeper mineralisation in the central Pertenencia zone.
The drill bit cut its way through an epic interval of 48.4m grading 148 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent from 143.4m depth, along with a string of punchy higher-grade lenses scattered through a broad mineralised zone that persisted for more than 230m downhole.
A second hole probed a 9.4m interval at a head-turning 633g/t silver equivalent from 145.2m, including a 3.23m slice going a sizzling 1411g/t silver equivalent.
โTogether these results increase our confidence ahead of the updated Yoquivo MRE.โ

Advance says the new assays will be folded into an updated geological model for the projectโs first JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate, which remains on track for delivery in the coming weeks.
The latest results will add considerable heft to the companyโs growing confidence around the continuity and vertical extent of its Pertenencia mineralisation.
Advance Metals managing director and chief executive officer Dr Adam McKinnon said: โThese final holes represent an excellent result to complete the current phase of drilling at Yoquivo and provide further evidence of the continuity, grade and growth potential of mineralisation within the Pertenencia area.โ
The latest hits nip hard at the heels of Advanceโs early-March update, which also flagged broad silver-gold intersections, hinting that Yoquivo could evolve beyond a narrow-vein underground concept towards a larger-scale development scenario.
With this drilling phase now wrapped up, the companyโs focus has swung to putting its new resource estimate to bed and mapping out the next steps to keep Yoquivoโs growth story rolling.
Yoquivo is not Advanceโs only story on the go right now. Work is also expected to kick off shortly with exploration programs to define a maiden resource at the companyโs Gavilanes silver-gold project in Mexicoโs Durango State.
For now, however, the companyโs next steps at Yoquivo will centre on folding the latest drilling results into a geological model as it works to deliver a maiden JORC-compliant mineral resource for the project.
As an adjunct to its principal resource effort, Advance also proposes a technical review of the completed drilling program to guide its next-stage exploration and mineral resource growth at Yoquivo.
If the upcoming mineral resource numbers reflect anything like the tenor of Advanceโs final drill holes, Yoquivo could be shaping up as a serious high-grade silver-gold contender in a proven Mexican mining district.
