Murwillumbah trainer Matthew Dunn will be well represented at Grafton on Tuesday with a big team of gallopers set to go around.

Dunn won his first feature at Grafton last month when securing success in the Ramornie Handicap with Band Of Brothers, and he returns to the Jacaranda track on Tuesday keen to add to the winning tally.

Dunn has Crazy Eights set to start the day for the stable when contesting the CRJC Premiership Winners Race Day Country Boosted Maiden Plate (1025m) with Jake Bayliss taking the ride.

Crazy Eights is an Exceedance gelding on debut after two trials and has finished second in his initial hit-out at Grafton before a fifth at Deagon.

Andrew Mallyon will partner Zweigelt for Dunn in the Congratulations Andrew Mallyon Maiden Handicap (1430m) with stablemate Latin Lights also lining up with Bayliss in the saddle. The trainer also had Didie’s Meadow in the event with no rider declared.

Zweigelt has only had two starts and is resuming from a spell having finished third on debut at Murwillumbah and then fifth at Grafton. He’s had two trials leading into his return to racing.

Latin Lights has only had one start since joining the Dunn stable and finished sixth at the Gold Coast on August 1 on the back of two trials.

Dunn will have three runners in the race named in his honour the Congratulations Matthew Dunn Country Boosted Class 1 Handicap (1430m) with Nick Heywood on last start winner Torque So Hot, Mallyon on You Are Mind, which won at Grafton two starts ago, and Bayliss aboard Artie Lady, which ran seventh at Grafton when resuming.

Dunn rounds out his day when lining up two runners in the Congratulations Sam McGuren Benchmark 66 Handicap (1200m).

Warrior Bae will be ridden by Mallyon and has a win and two placings from his past three starts.

Valouri, to be partnered by Bayliss, has a win and three seconds from six starts and resumes after two recent trials. Valouri broke her maiden at the Gold Coast in December of last year.
