Newcastle trainer Nathan Doyle is hoping a win at Hawkesbury on Tuesday with Malabar can be the springboard to more success at Gosford on Thursday.
Doyle, who prepared Private Harry to win a maiden Group 1 for horse and trainer in last yearโs The Galaxy, will saddle up Lightning Glory and Just Response in the Deltacorp Remedial Provincial Class 1 Handicap (1200m) with apprentice Shannen Llewellyn and Ashley Morgan taking the respective rides.

Shotgun Bella was also an acceptor in the event, however Doyle said she was likely to go to Scone on Friday where Kerrin McEvoy has been booked to ride.
โI accepted with the three of them in the Gosford event thinking they all wouldnโt draw well, but they did,โ said Doyle.
โJust Response and Lightning Glory drew one and two respectively and they will go around.
โThey are both resuming from a spell and both have good credentials.
โLightning Glory won on debut at his initial campaign and his form tapered off a bit after that, even though he ran fifth in town and then third at Wyong. He has trialled well leading into his resuming run behind Mogul Monarch, who won a Provincial-Midway Championships Qualifier.
โJust Response has a good record but can get a bit worked up. He won his maiden at Gosford last campaign and has been placed in his other three starts.
โHeโs a trial winner leading into his resuming run and I think he should take plenty of beating.โ
