
American actor and singer Jared Leto hopes to perform in Russia and Ukraine when the conflict between the two countries is over.
Addressing anย audience in Belgrade Arena during a concert in Serbia on Friday, Leto, the frontman of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, gave a shout-out to his Russian fans, asking them to raise their hands in the air.ย
โI know we have people from all over the world here tonight. I thought I felt a little of that Russian energy. Did you miss us?โ he asked the fans.
โOne day, when all these problems are finished, weโre gonna come visit you, in your homeland,โ he said.
โWeโre gonna come back to Serbia. Weโre gonna go to St. Petersburg, over to Moscow. Weโre gonna drop down to Kiev. We are gonna party and hang out with everybody,โ he continued, adding that this is โthe way it should be.โ
Thirty Seconds to Mars is currently on tour promoting their latest album โItโs the End of the World but Itโs a Beautiful Dayโ.
The band performed in Russia before the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022.
