The North Carolina Department of Revenue confirmed on Monday that Professional Mail Services, Inc., ceased operations and won’t be completing any further print or mail services for the agency.ย
The department said that it has been made aware that some notices and refund checks were not printed and mailed.
Agency officials said they are “in the process of identifying options to resume printing and mailing notices and refund checks as quickly as possible.”ย
The delays will affect those who filed a paper return or requested a paper check.ย
