6. I Am Brave is a well-bred I Am Invincible filly on debut, and she’s had two trials for a win at Randwick and a third at Rosehill. She’s drawn the rails here and looks set to get the run of the race. She can kick off her career with a victory. 4. Apollo Ridge resumed from a spell with a second at Wyong when leading and not beaten far and another bold showing is expected. 1. City Gold Speed is on debut and has had one trial in which he was safely held. He’s in a good stable and is set to run well. 2. Favour The Bold is also on debut and has performed well in two runs either side of a break.

Race 2

7. Solitario debuted with a second at Armidale in December and resumes from a spell here having had a trial at Muswellbrook in which he finished second. He looks the one to beat here. 2. Ghaznavi has had two runs since joining a new stable and has run well in each of them. Another forward showing is on the cards. 1. Currumbin Alley is on debut on the back of a good trial and warrants respect, while 3. Mad Harry can run into the placings.

Race 3

3. Cosmonaut is on debut after three trials, with the latest resulting in a fourth at Rosehill. He’s shown the talent to make an impact here and is from a form stable with Kerrin McEvoy taking the ride. 4. Demi God is also on debut and has had a good grounding with two trials in preparation. 6. So Rebellious ran third on debut at Bathurst and has place claims. 9. Shuttering has had two recent trials in preparation for this debut. She’s from a leading stable and is set to perform well.

Race 4

1. Harlex won two trials before resuming from a spell with a dominant victory at Newcastle when he raced on the speed and bolted in. He should push forward again here and take plenty of running down. 9. Panta Rhei debuted with an easy Muswellbrook victory last November and then ran second at this track before being spelled. She’s had two trials leading into this first-up run and has drawn the rails. 2. Majestuoso Phoenix is lightly raced and has shown the talent to be a factor here, while 4. Aged Care has been ultra-consistent in a five-start career and warrants respect fresh.
