Austria have come to the party with some new players, making hour-mark substitutions in Sasa Kalajdzic, who is on for Romano Schmid, and Marko Arnautovic, who replaces Michael Gregoritsch. At half-time they also brought on Carney Chukwuemeka for Nicolas Seiwald and Florian Grillitsch for Xaver Schlager.
A minute after coming on, Kalajdzic claims Austriaโs best attempt yet with a header that is just slightly too high. At two metres tall, he is a serious threat to Spain, especially if Austria can win any set pieces in their attacking half.
Their other substitute, Arnautovic, isnโt as lucky in his first few minutes. Instead, heโs down with a possible head injury after colliding with Spainโs keeper, Unai Simon. Heโs back up before long.
